Phytonutrient is essentially a big umbrella term that encompasses such wonderful substances for our cells such as quercetin, lycopene, reseratrol, ellagic, sufloraphane, and alpha and beta corotene. I’m sure most of you have heard of ANTI-OXIDANTs that helps prevent our cells from being attacked by free radicals. We will find out more as each post reveals itself to you.

So far, more than 5000 or so phytonutrients have been discovered and documented in studies around the world. For example, you remember the adage “an apple a day keeps the doctor away,” well, we found out that not only is the apple itself full of vitamins and fiber but that the most nutritious part of the apple is actually in the apple skin containing the most significant amount of phytonutrients. For instance, in one of the study with over 40,000 adult female subjects found that the quercetin and other phytonutrients in the apple lowered heart disease by 13% to 22%.

Moreover, did you know that some vegetables like watercress can actually prevent cancer cells from growing, specially the harmful effects of cigarette. And that strawberries and other colorful berries containing ellagic acid has illustrated in blocking out cancer causing toxins.  I want all of you to take charge of your health through my detail research from scientific journals and to take advantage of the wholistic medicine that nature intended rather than from pharmaceutical companies.

About TommyBoiZee

Our Deepest Fear is that We Are Powerful Beyond Measure Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
